Coaches 2011 Information
For anyone wanting to coach a Travel Team in 2011, please see the attached document (in the document section), for information regarding the procedures.

New Procedure for Travel Permits for Rep Teams
Effective immediately, all Travel Teams requesting Travel Permits must send in their travel permit requests to the following email address: travel.permits@orangevilleminorsoccer.ca
This will allow for better management of requests, and ensure that no team's emails get overlooked during busy times at the office.

Good afternoon Coaches,
With the 2010 season coming to a close there are some items we still need to address:
Coaches Selection 2011
- The Deadline for applications is September 15th, as in previous years please send an email to the director of coaching and travel teams (me) and cc the office. The email will outline intentions your for the upcoming season. Reminder that this still does not guarantee your position and it will still be in submitted to the selection committee.
- Any person applying for any head coaching position not held in the 2009 season must fill out a new application.
- The Final selection announcement will made Wednesday September 23rd
Tryouts
- Fall Tryout will take place the first 2 weeks in October and will be held on ½ fields at rotary.
- There will be 2 different time slots 6:30- 8:00 and 8:00 to 9:30
- There will be no try-out fee
Acts Rental
- Acts rental will be Monday and Wednesday starting the week of October 19th ending 1st week in May
- 3 time slots are available 6-7:30, 7:30-9 and 9- 11.
- $ 100 for ½ field rental per time slot per week payable to club in two installments (dates will be confirmed Mid September).
- The younger age teams will be given to preference to the earlier timeslots.
- No time will be confirmed until the Official coaching announcement.
- No full field rental will be allowed if there is other teams interested in that timeslot
- All players must be registered with the club to practice
Team placement 2010 season
- The SWRSL placement meeting is on October 4th, at that time, I will have a better idea on whom and where teams will be. The OSA is really being strict on the pyramid of play. NOTE IF THERE IS A DIVISION IN SWRSL(L5) or WOYSL (L4) THERE WILL BE NO MOVEMENT TO ANOTHER LEAGUE (SOUTH REGION, YRSL)
- December 14th is the deadline for L3/L4 WOYSL. February 15th for SWRSL(L5)
Rep Banquet
The Date will be confirmed shortly.
Personal awards (Same as previous years) will be handed of at that time.
Year End Financial Statement
- REMINDER THAT THE FINAL FINANCIAL BALANCE STATEMENT IS DUE SEPTEMBER 15th
